Kids Running Assessment 

This is a one hour session where we analyse your childs running technique and biomechanics. During the assessment we take a full history to know all about them, their running and any injuries.  We then film them walking and running, then use complete  a number of movement and neuromuscular tests. Once we have gathered all the information we sit down together to go through the video analysis and movement assessment.  We discuss with you and your child what we have identified as strengths and weaknesses and the areas of concern which may be putting them at risk of injury or preventing them from running faster.

Kids Running Technique Coaching

Following on from the Running Technique Assessment the one hour running technique coaching sessions take your child through a running journey to improve their technique.  We work on the weaknesses and inefficiencies found in the Running Assessment using a variety of coaching using a mix of run training, movement repatterning, co-ordination and balance skill. The coaching is bespoke their movement patterns and individual goals.  Your child will be prescribed running and conditioning homework throughout the programme to enhance your running technique and movement patterns.   

In the last session we review their goals and reassess their technique comparing the before and after videos. We also discuss the running plan going forward ensuring they keep working to maintain your new skills, strength and continue improving. 

We offer Running Technique Coaching in a Block of 6, 12 or 18 one hour sessions.

Multi-Directional Sports Movement Coaching

Our Multi-directional Sports Technique Coaching is ideal for children who wish to improve their movement on the playing field whatever the sport. Following the inital movement assessment we work on speed, agility, balance and proprioception to gain effective multi directional movements.  Your child will be prescribed running,  movement and conditioning homework throughout the programme to enhance their running technique and movement patterns.

We offer there coaching session in block of 12 or 18 and recommend at least one session per week.
